The Role:
  • Support and assist in implementing the day-to-day running of sponsorship programs within the Ooredoo sponsorship portfolio in conjunction with a cross-functional, integrated marketing communications PR branding team, in line with the Sponsorship strategy.

  • Assisting in developing projects and supporting the operational demands of the business’s corporate social responsibility strategy.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Support in the development, planning and carrying out marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.

  • Support in planning, developing and carrying out internal communications programmes.

  • Support in the development of an effective and comprehensive internal communications policy. Establish procedures for communicating information consistently, effectively and efficiently.

  • Support in building an internal communications programme which will promote active engagement with the business in an informative and professional manner, ensuring the workforce is motivated and that reflects internal values.

  • Identify, analyse and propose actions to target business areas that need to increase employee engagement.

  • Ensure that all internal communications activities are aligned with external communications activities.

  • Support initiatives requiring department or Ooredoo Telecom wide communications including speeches, emails and internal memos.

  • Develop, set and maintain corporate guidelines in order to maintain consistency in the use and layout of corporate image.

  • Coordinate contributions to maximise internal communication media.

  • Write, create, obtain approval for and distribute key internal messages and communications materials.

  • Update and develop the intranet, newsletter content and Ooredoo Telecom news in a timely manner. Identify enhancements to the look/feel of the intranet sites and manage the deployment of agreed design changes.

  • Ensure the most effective and appropriate means of communication is used at all-time e.g. audio visual, video, web, graphic etc.

  • Consistently evaluate internal communications and employer branding to measure effectiveness.

  • Advise internal customers on the most effective use of existing channels of communication.

  • Carry out any other task that can help in achieving

  • Manage sponsorship events / programs including on ground logistics and transportation, sourcing of appropriate business promotion, booking of hotel accommodation for VIP guests, hospitality guest list and all other necessary.

  • Arrangements to ensure a smooth running and operation of our events. Ensure brand and business message integration is clearly articulated in all aspects of sponsorship including on-site branding.

  • Manage Sponsorship events/programmes

  • Research, analyse and make recommendations regarding matters related to day-to-day cost control of a sponsorship in order to ensure budgetary compliance

  • Ensure brand and business message integration is clearly articulated in all aspects of sponsorship including on-site branding and activation

  • Brief and co-ordinate external and internal parties and departments such as social media, advertising, branding, etc. (as directed).

  • Manage sponsorship events / programs including on ground logistics and transportation, sourcing of appropriate business promotion, booking of hotel accommodation for VIP guests, hospitality guest list and all other necessary.

  • Arrangements to ensure a smooth running and operation of our events. Ensure brand and business message integration is clearly articulated in all aspects of sponsorship including on-site branding.

  • Brief and co-ordinate external and internal parties and departments such as social media, advertising, branding, etc. (as directed).

  • Ensure timely delivery of all rights and benefits as per the sponsorship contract.

  • Research, analyze and make recommendations regarding matters related to day-to-day cost control of a sponsorship in order to ensure budgetary compliance

  • Ensure brand and business message integration is clearly articulated in all aspects of sponsorship including on-site branding and activation

  • Develop a CSR strategy for Ooredoo Kuwait with the Head and review it on a yearly basis

  • Maintain the CSR Strategy throughout the year.

  • Execute the CSR strategy through different community events and sponsorships.

  • Achieve Ooredoo vision for its CSR strategy, drive sustainable development in Kuwait while adding value to the business.

  • Analyse & study CSR related sponsorship requests and submit briefs for approvals.

  • Ensure all CSR activities are covered by PR.

  • Assist in preparing Sustainability reports covering CSR projects to be submitted internally and externally, as needed.

  • Responsible for preparing CSR related information for the website and other publications.

  • Responsible for preparing CSR related information for the website and other publications. Overlooking the publicity and communication plan for all campaign and sponsorships; making sure the right internal and external media exposure is secured within the right timeframe. Align with the rest of the team to make sure all deliverables are met.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a business related, science or social science discipline with appropriate registration with a recognized professional institute.

Other Information:
  • Required 5-6 years of experience based on progression ladder, relevant experience in sponsorships or promotions in the telecommunications sector; well informed on the Kuwaiti media sector.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.

  • Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English

  • Creative flair and excellent presentation skills
